Hello Everyone,
Caruthers High School will be holding it's annual basketball tournament December 19th and 20th. The basketball tournament has been a great success over the last two years. It has helped the Punjabi Club in many ways.
Tournament date will be December 19th and 20th. Cost = $250 I need the checks no later than December 4th. (School rule) Please contact me at 510-673-2798 or email steve.gill@yahoo.com
Trophies for first, second, third place teams.

The rules are the same as before. Since we are a high school hosting the event we have to allow non Indians to play. Each team may have one non Indian on the
court. All other rules will be the same for CIB events.

Below are the game times I was given by a 3rd party---THESE ARE STRICTLY UNOFFICAL GAME TIMES UNTIL THE COORDINATORS CONFIRM THEM ( I
personally think they are accurate):
Saturday Dec 19
8 am-Finest vs. Toonsquad 9 am-Rajas vs. Sikhist 10 am-Wolfpack vs. Blazers 11 am-Underdogs vs. BKS 12 pm-Finest vs. Sikhist 1 pm-Rajas vs. Toonsqaud 2 pm- Wolfpack vs. BKS 3 pm-Underdogs vs. Blazers 4 pm-Sikhist vs. Toonsquad 5 pm-Finest vs. Rajas 6 pm-BKS vs. Blazers 7 pm-Wolfpack vs. Underdogs Sunday Dec 20 With wins and lost your team will be ranked 1-8 9 AM- 4th vs. 5th 10 Am-1st vs. 8th 11 am-2nd vs. 7th 12 pm- 3rd vs. 6th 1 pm- Winners of 9 am vs. winners of 10 am 2 pm- Winners of 11 am vs. winners of 12 pm 3:00- 3 point competition 4:00- Championship game Looks like there will not be a 3rd place team with this format--which with 8 teams is understood--another plus everyone is guaranteed 4 games!!! love always, your brother jasbir singh nagra---BKS |
