Thank you to Hark Bains and the rest of the Young Gunz for organizing a great tourney. It was a great turnout for the big games on Sunday and a lot of people
showed up for the Kids games as well. Referees were great profressionals and made sure the game was played in a proper fashion. The only problem really was a
couple drops from the rain into the Gymnasium but there was always someone making sure it did not affect any of the players.
Congrats to Usual Suspects for Winning it all. They came back after losing to Franchise in the winner's bracket, then beat Bad Boys in the semifinals, then played really well as a team to top Franchise. Mike Chahal was well deserving of the MVP. -Kulbir Nijjar Gulab Jammers #13 |

yuba sutter area vs rest of california......better desi ball players....
in the 80's it was yuba in the 90's it was yuba and present day...is still yuba..... why is that.... let me clarify this..b/c of misinterpreation.. i mean top to bottom.we a population of 60K the rest is like 6 mill ...and like the 4th and 5th quality yuba team was beating teams like bks...bsc...and others...like random fools who dont even really really ball or nething...was doing their thing against decent teams that have been hooopin together before and this and that....and i am not talkin bout the championship game b/c franchise is still the best team in the cib...b/c they done it for more than one tourney...but usual suspect did and does have better quality players top to bottom than franchise did this past tourney...GM harmelo did a good job or atleast played at a higher level

First and foremost I want to thank Hark Bains, family, and friends and everyone who helped make this tourney possible. It was an excellent tourney in every
aspect of the setup and organization. It once again lived up to the hype that it is the best Cali tourney!!!
Congratulations to the Usual Suspects for winning it! Our tourney needless to say was a great disappointment. We lost to Yuba City Sports Club on an excellent individual effort by Mamo---he hit a three with two guys in his face from the corner with a 1 second left on the shot clock and 30 seconds left in the game and than in our second loss Juni Gill just absolutely was killing us the entire game and decided to hit a 3 pointer with 35 seconds left to give them a 1 point win over us. I knew coming in and the personnel we had that we could play with anyone in this tourney but we were not good enough to overlook anyone. The way it turned out we lost to two teams that just did a little more than us and I congratulate both teams on out playing us. Anyway great tourney top to bottom the teams were excellent!!! Yeah, it was a great tourny all around. Good competition and solid teams. Some great performances by indivdual players and teams. Usual Suspects was stacked
(Mike, Bally, and Melo were great) and definately came to play, and proved that by beating Franchise in the final, and also Pineapple Express made it to the
Final Four. Other disappointments including TPC (combined with Norcal's starters and didn't get into Sunday), BKS who suffered some tough losses, and
Diamond Club who had the tall kid #1 and the point guard who were individually two of the best players in the tournament and didn't get into Sunday. Hark
Bains and the rest of the family and friends who made this possible were definately first class.

For the record...Nor-cal did not combine wit TPC in any kind of way. Apparently, Mr. Hark Bains magically got the last 5 checks on the same day and we ended
up getting the short end of the stick. Thats what we get for beating his team every single time. We will send our check in 2 months in advance from now on.
Jazz, i heard Andy didnt get enough touches, thats why u guys lost those games...anyways..i hope that cleared it up for u basketballer100, whoever u are.

for the record you did combine with tpc cuz three of your players were on their team for the whole tourney so you must be the guy who did not get added to the
roster trying to claim "for the record" for the record everyone number 50 was the guy who didnt get picked up by tpc so hes claiming that there was
no combing of the teams.... and beat Harks team? whos Harks team? if anything Hark is hella close to tpc you know the guys that picked up ur teammates not
combined but picked up for lack of better words....Hark has no team and stop braggin about beating mediocre teams and send ur check in a timely fashion and
people will be more then willing to let you play Great Tourney Hark everything was on point especially the food,drinks and the art for the kids.... way to go

first of all., say who are. second, I chose not to play in the tourney. I was never bragging about beating his mediocre teams because most the teams that
play in the tourneys are mediocre. I was only replying to what basketballer100 was saying, not to insult anybody. When's the next tourney?? anybody know

If TPC "picking up" 3 of your players (thanks New New) isnt combining teams, Im not sure what is. &Hark did a great job with the tournament, and
New New was right on point with his post. Im sure you were not trying to offend anyone, it was just the way you came across the board. No offense taken on my
part. However could someone elaborate on Andy not getting enough touches during the games?

the usual suspects was the clutch player he was pretty good

WHAT DIDN'T YOU UNDERSTAND. WHEN I TOLD YOU THAT ALL 16 TEAMS ARE FILLED. WHAT DID YOU MEAN BY MAGICALLY 5 ENTREES CAME IN AT ONCE AND ALSO FOR YOUR
INFORMATION I PROBABLY HAVE A REALTIVE ON MOST OF THE TEAM SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT. SO AGAIN IT'S HAPPENED TO TEAM EVERY YEAR .
DON'T CRY ABOUT IT LATER WHEN IT'S YOUR OWN FAULT THAT YOU DIDN'T TURN IN YOUR ENTRY ON TIME.

Hark & Staff - great tourney... a lot of perks and it was fun for all age groups. Def showed a lot of effort was put into it.
Tourney had a lot of surprise players, it was good to see the younger guys get some shine and show off their stuff... keep up the hard work Arsh - any team can get hot and beat some top tier teams. %+%% happens.... and as far as Yuba having the best teams... its easy to say that when the BULK of the Indian population is in the YUBA area...and lets not forget the tourney was held in Yuba... the same representation for the end of tourney results isnt the same in Fresno, Livingston, etc.... Kal ps - Vallejo tourney will most likely be held end of June to early July |
